Just to clairify:
Me and my buddy just whipped together this hillarious track. I either want to be able to upload to a site which will host the MP3 for nice facebook linkage or a place that will auto create one of those cool little flash music players (kinda like Tumblr does) but it's easily linkable on other sites...
something like Mediafire or Sendspace isn't ideal because you cant link DIRECTLY to the file (so that other websites can create those little players) and tumblr only allows one file a day...

From what I've read solo hasn't crippled their phones -- we do have java and the like but there are many work arounds you need to go through. And sadly its too costly to use the web browser to download the app via WAP (and i've read that solo also doesn't allow large file downloads...)
guess I'm screwed. lol

Yeah generally I've noted that LaCies are great, but I have one of the porsche drives and some of the online reviews are Scathing... though perhaps those are just an unlucky few...

I should mention its a Lacie Porsche designed 500gb drive... and I've heard mostly great things but a lot have been saying it'll crap out at the 11 month or 2 year period (kind of a big gap). Anyone have some recommendations for good External HDs?

Well I have an external drive which I noticed was making some noise today - though it sounded like it was merely the sound of seeking. But im so paranoid since I lost a drive a few weeks ago and all these shows were talking about failure recently.
Also - it mentions smart-status isn't supported. I have drive genius and im going to run a scan on it... hopefully thats a good idea.
